Welcome.
If you are visiting my infant loss page, I am truly sorry for your loss. No words could ever take your pain away at this moment.
I am here to hold space and support you through this tragic time and would be honored to walk alongside you. You are not alone, and I hear you and I am here to hold you up.
The support I provide families I work with are very individualized, no family situation is the same.
As I do understand that my services may not be for everybody, it is important for grieving parents to have a proper goodbye for their deceased baby and the best place for this is in your own home.
Although our hospitals give you the option to spend a couple of days there with your baby it is much more comfortable and important to create these memories privately with no public noise and possibly the cries of other babies. Many parents find comfort in creating memories of their baby by photographs, hand, and footprints, possibly a lock of hair so they can focus on their grief.
To have the option to take your sweet baby home gives you time to create precious moments and memories surrounded by family and friends if you choose. I will openly talk with you about the information you will need to know to be able to have your baby at home with you. In Alberta, we are able to have our deceased loved ones in our home for a maximum of three days. I will be there to support you from the time of birth to the funeral service and on. The transportation of your little one will be done by me as well. My services will not end until you are ready.
For more information on my infant loss services please contact me. Emails are just fine as phone calls can be hard to get through and I understand that.
It is important to have as much support as possible at this time.
Please know you are not alone.
